Are you familiar with the Sustainable Development Goals? Adopted by the United Nations back in 2015, these 17 goals, with specific targets for 2030, aim to "end poverty, protect the planet and ensure prosperity for all." While these goals affect every single person, most of us do not have access to the conversations that are shaping the solutions. The Global People's Summit, is looking to close that gap. This 100% online and inclusive summit invites all to sign up for free and join the conversations on September 22, 2018 from 9am to 5pm (EST). From climate change to gender equality, you will have the opportunity to engage with 40 speakers from around the world on this year's theme: Reimagine Humanity. Here are the highlights from 2017, where it reached 84 million worldwide and had participation from 163 countries.
On a personal note, I have been selected to join their 2018 Global People Fellows, a cohort of 45 change-makers from 33 countries. Extremely humbled but very excited to support its mission to "putting people at the center of global decisions." Look forward to hearing your voices!
